Shattered Dream

Never stop Believing in Hope, Because miracles happens Everyday.

On the bank of river side, there were three trees. They were unique from other trees. They always found enough water from the river and were always green. They never lacked anything for their survival. They spent every season in a celebrate way. They had grown up to large trees and were ready to be used for different purpose. So, they began to talk to each other about their dreams and future.

The first tree said, “My dream is to grow tall, I want to grown very tall, so that I must even be seen from the other side of two mountains”.

The other two trees appreciated its dream. The second tree said, “May my wood be used to build big ship, so that I can carry kings and queens across oceans and seas by facing every difficulties”.

And the last tree said, “I dream, may my woods be used to make precious box, where precious things of the world be kept”.

Just they had spoken out their desires and wishes. As they were happy and talking lot about their dreams. Few wood cutters came and chop down those trees. And took them away for their livelihood. They were sold to three different merchant with normal price. But unfortunately, the first tree reached to the palace. The second tree reached to a fisherman. And the third tree reached to a farmer.

The carpenter in the palace made a cross out of first tree. The fisherman made an ordinary boat out of it and kept it on the bank of the lake. And the farmer made a manger out of it, to feed his animals on it. Dreams of those trees shattered down, they broke completely. They had no more hope for their dream. They gave up everything, and compromised with their situation. But they always felt, as if they were without any purpose and meaning. They believed that their dream would never come true. Slowly time has gone by, it’s more than a decade by then. Since the time they had dreamt about their future. But no one knows when the time changes.

When the time came, on a chilly winter evening a mother who was going through a labor pain. And she was about to deliver a baby. As she had no place, where she could deliver the baby. Finally, she delivered the baby in the cowshed. And after the baby was born, she placed him on the manger. It was the same manger, which had desire to carry precious things of the world. Just after a while when wise men from east gifted him precious gifts. And acknowledged him as the “Prince of peace”, “King of Kings” and “Everlasting Prince”. The manger at once realised that what else could be more precious than it was carrying. It realised that its dream came true, in a way more than its expectation.

Same way with the boat that was left on the bank of lake. It was depressed and lonely. One afternoon, it could see few men coming towards it. They sat on the boat and were moving other side of the lake. On the middle of their way, a huge storm struck. They all were frightened. The boat was almost about to sink. Then a man from the boat raised his hand and calmed the storm. The boat realised that, it’s wasn’t an ordinary man. It realised that, the man was none other than everlasting king. And on other king would be greater than him. It was filled with joy and happiness. This way the dream of the second tree also came true.

And finally, the dream of first tree was not fulfilled. It couldn’t grow very tall because it was cut down. But on the day of Good Friday, it was the same cross on which the everlasting king was sacrificed for the entire humanity. Even though the length of the cross was not seen from the other side of two mountains. But assuredly it was seen by the entire heavenly being. The angels of the heaven were happy by looking at that cross. Because it made direct relationship between heaven and earth through which every human being can be saved. This way the first tree also realised that its dream came true. All the three trees were happy at last, and were never depressed again.
